Happy Halloween

Why not join us for a spooky beer this weekend?

A sticky treacle stout or a vampire favourite of a blood coloured fruit beer…

Bwah hah hah!!

Just arrived…..ready for the weekend..

Many thanks to Shane for a restock, back in is Cheshire Gap, Smokehouse Porter(thinking for the last time ) and Govinda IPA, both versions, two different barrels two different experiences ๐Ÿ˜† both rather good…

Our friends from Barnsley’s Geeves Brewery have dropped off a couple of beers on their way through town, the excellent Smokey Joe Stout and the 6% IPA Fully Laden…..

Don’t forget, this weekend we have on cask Redwillow’s superb best bitter Feckless, Happpy Valley’s 5.9% IPA Bollywood and finally Bollington’s 4.8% US inspired IPA Endurance, a real coup for us, not been seen anywhere on cask as yet ๐Ÿ˜†…….well worth a try believe me…..

The biggest marble is back..

The wonderful Dobber is now back in stock along with the super hoppy Lagonda and Ginger 5.1, they’ve been missed….

We also now have a cracking range from the Hop Studio in Elvington York, 4 super beers well worth checking out if you haven’t before…

A big thanks to Kym and team down at Bollington Brewery, Barley Hops are delighted and indeed honoured to be one of the first venues to have Endurance IPA on cask this weekend…… well worth sampling if the bottle version is anything to go by ๐Ÿ˜‰

Today’s top selling..

Brewery is Off Beat from Crewe, a serious run on Michelle’s beers today, especially Out Of Step, the first 6 had gone before 10.10 this morning ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

A road trip across Cheshire is due again. If all goes to plan next week we will have the legendary Dobber and the equally venerable Lagonda back on our shelves.

Also a return for brewery from just outside York called Hop Studio, we’ve stocked their beers from the very start but not since January, tieing in delivery has always been difficult, if the stars align this week we will be sorted ๐Ÿ˜‰ and you wont be disappointed. …

It’s Friday!!!

And this is what’s on draught this weekend, had a sneaky taste of the SBA and the Wreckless for purely quality control reasons, just in case you were wondering. …. they are both superb 😆

See you soon.

Preparing all things festive….

Well its a start anyway, big thanks to Darren at AD Profile here in Congleton for helping its out with these, looking good ๐Ÿ˜†

Well here’s the range we have, need a bigger table or a better camera

A welcome return to Versa a really nice Weisse beer, back after a 8 month absence and a new “All Day IPA” by the name of AM:PM, Chiron and Kipling back in too..

First one of the day…

Its manic Tuesday and the first through the door is Thornbridge, earlier than expected but most welcome. …list to follow ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well picture actually. …its easier ๐Ÿ˜†

Busy delivery day yesterday

After theย  bombardment of the shelves while we have been away, they are now being restocked.
New ales from Congleton’s other Brewery “Front Row” ranging from Pales to Stouts, they did get a bit of hammering themselves last night though, also a good selection of ales from Off Beat Brewery in Crewe. 7 new ales here too.
