Return of the King

Well the rumours were true, we now have the last batch of Sorachi Ace now on draught, just for those that missed it first time around…..oh and for those that didn’t 😆 image Along with Tatton Best and Into The Light from Wilson Potter on draught, a rather nice combination for a weekend…..

Well we warned you…..

Sorry this was Sorachi Ace…..honest it was there earlier……just not any more 😥

Big hats off to Shane at Cheshire Brewhouse, loads of great feedback, a serious quality beer….

A real coup for Barley Hops

Well people we are very fortunate to have secured a rather special beer from the fabulous Cheshire Brewhouse here in Congleton, a long time in the planning but well worth the wait believe me

Hens teeth, rocking horse…you know what, a positive England cricket captain 😥 are more prolific than this hop……..and yes it will be on draught very soon, we will pick a date and update accordingly. …. not one to be missed….we will have a limited number of bottles…..not the run of the mill ones either 😉

Can’t wait, cheers Shane

It’s Saturday, all change!!!

Busy morning sorting these out, but both now ready to go. Cheshire Brewhouse`s Saxon Cross, English celebration Pale Ale…….nicley hopped at 3.8% and very refreshing,  I’m sure we will have something to celebrate before the summers out…..even if its just a couple of cloud free days…😆 George Wright`s wonderful Roman Black makes a very welcome return, a 4.8% black, smooth, creamy ale with a sweet finish, very nice. image Remember we are open till 8pm…..

New draught offerings…

Well the last couple soon disappeared so here’s the next pairing….

One of my personal favourites and a beer I never tire of, thanks SS 😀

Don’t forget we’re open til 6 today for all your world cup refreshments needs, its warm and liquids are essential 😀 sensibly of course!
You know it makes sense, remember we are closed on Mondays. ….sorry 😦

Hoping for more of the same after last night’s main game, it all made sense really, during the afternoon we had a massive rush on the Paulaner and Schieder-Wiesse but couldn’t think why at the time…..doh!!!!!!!

We have something to celebrate

Ok, it isn’t the England football team but it’s the fact that the sun is shining and it’s the weekend. What more could we ask for.?

Today’s draught ales are Cheshire Brewhouse “A Little Lupy – Keyworth Early” & Happy Valley “Dr John’s 50th”

Don’t forget to get your 12 box selections from the beer cafe, either for your BBQs, general drinking or parties, where we will give you a 10% discount, another reason to celebrate.

We have just ordered our continental ales for next week. A few new ones included in the list, with backfills for all the ones sold out last weekend and today.
Marble Brewery will be back in stock on Tuesday as well.

If there is something that you like and we don’t have in stock,  let us know and we’ll try and get it in for you.

Have a good weekend

We are nearly ready for the Congleton Food Festival

It’s tomorrow, can’t believe how quickly the day has come around. Looking forward to seeing Congleton town spring into life, with 1000s of people attending the ever-expanding event. Jo Money and her team of volunteers have done a superb job in the Organisation and keeping everyone informed.
So have a look at the Website for all the stalls, demonstration times and entertainment available. The weather is looking OK too.
Don’t forget we will be having tasters on the stall throughout the day.
