Congleton, Macclesfield and Wincle covered, oh sorry, did I mention we have a few bottles too!!!!

Storm expected

We have selected Storm Brewery for our Brewery of the day, as a reminder of all the storms that we have received lately. We sincerely hope that we have seen the last of them for a while, so Storm Brewery…. is the smaller of the two breweries based in Macclesfield,  Cheshire.

The award winning Storm Brewing Company was formed in 1998 by partners Hugh Thompson and David Stebbings.
Operating from a former pub on Waterside in Macclesfield – The Mechanics Arms (which closed in 1937) – the brewery produces a range of seventeen different beers.

We currently have four of their ales in the Beer Café
★ Beauforts Ale – 3.8% – Golden brown full flavoured session bitter
★ Windgather – 4.5% Gold coloured beer with a distinctive crisp, fruity flavour
★ Hurricane Hubert – 4.5% – Dark, amber celebration ale
★ Bosley Cloud – 4.1% – Wheat, lager & pale all rolled into one.

We normally have Silk of Amnesia in bottles and just recently had this on draught,  it has proved to be very popular and is Pauls favourite of all Storms ales.
Bosley Cloud is the biggest seller.

Fancy one, then give us a call on 01260 270164.
